Katie is the Vice President of Stop Heroin Now and also serves on the Board of Directors. Katie is a Certified Recovery Coach and Trainer at Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery (CCAR). Katie is the supervisor of the Wisconsin Recovery Coaching State network pilot. She is the Co- Founder of Wisconsin Siblings United as well as the Street Team Coordinator in Washington Co. for Rise Together. Katie is an AODA Therapist and has obtained her AODA degree from MPTC in Fond du Lac. Katie plans to return to college to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. She is currently employed at Alarus Healthcare, Inc. as a Counselor. Katie’s passion for this cause has come from her own struggles with addiction. She has just celebrated her 13th year in long term recovery. She also has a passion to not only save lives but to educate the community and break the stigma addiction can leave on recovering addicts.
